BBSRC Research Masters Training .

Applications are invited for a number of Full Studentships and part funded Bursaries for BBSRC supported Masters, commencing September 2010.  The training provided by this program will be delivered through the existing Neuroscience program focusing on specific themes to provide research students with an integrated view of neuroscience and physiology, and an appreciation of how computational methods may be used to understand complex biological systems.

Projects will generally be done within the grouping of Research Centres encompassed by Edinburgh Neuroscience (www.edinburghneuroscience.ed.ac.uk), and the Center for Integrative Physiology (www.ed.ac.uk/schools-departments/biomedical-sciences/studying/postgraduate-research)

The program is open to applicants with first degrees in all areas of biological sciences, subject to BBSRC terms of eligibility (www.bbsrc.ac.uk/web/FILES/Guidelines/studentship_eligibility.pdf ).  Those students with an interest in in vivo studies are particularly encouraged.

Further details available from the Program Director Dr. Paul Skehel, pskehel@ed.ac.uk.  Applications should be made on-line to the Neuroscience by Research program through the EUCLID system.
